Floor laying configurator
Subfloor, material and laying pattern, including skirtings and finish. Levelling is its own line, because that is the work that always turns out to be needed afterwards.
For floor layers and finishing firms
What it asks
- 1The room
- 2What goes down
- 3The subfloor
- 4Finish
What comes out
- A quote with the lines set out separately, ready to send
- On the veranda and the dormer window, a sketch with the dimensions on it
- The survey kept, so a second visit is not a second survey
- On solar panels and insulation, the grant shown separately so the customer sees both figures
Does the laying pattern count?
Yes. Herringbone costs more hours and more waste than laying straight. That difference belongs in the price and not in the final account.
The amounts sit in your own environment and not in our code. You set your own labour rate, your own material prices and your own uplifts, and you do not wait for a release to do it.
